Freedom Award for Burma's democracy leader

အေမရိကန္ ျပည္ေထာင္စု ၀ါရွင္တန္ဒီစီ အေျခစိုက္ Freedom House အဖဲြ ့ ရဲ  ့  Freedom Award ဆု အတြက္ ျမန္မာ့ဒီမိုကေရစီေခါင္းေဆာင္ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုျကည္ကုိ ေရြးခ်ယ္လိုက္ျကပါတယ္။

“ ဖမ္းဆီးမွဳ၊ တားဆီးဟန္ ့တားမွဳမ်ိဳးစံု ျကားက ျမန္မာလူထု လြတ္ေျမာက္ေရးအတြက္ အစဥ္တစိုက္ ရုန္းကန္ လွဳပ္ရွားေနတဲ့ ေအာင္ဆန္းစုျကည္ ဟာ ဒီဆုနဲ ့ အထိုက္တန္ဆံုး သူတစ္ဦးပါ”  လို ့ Freedom House အဖဲြ ့ ရဲ  ့ ဥဣဌ David J. Kramer က ေအာက္တိုဘာလ ၂၆ ရက္ေန ့မနက္ပိုင္းမွာ ေျကျငာခ်က္ထုတ္ျပန္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ဒီကေန ့ည ၇နာရီခဲြ အသင္းရဲ ့ ၇၀ နွစ္ျပည့္ နွစ္ပတ္လည္ အခမ္းအနားမွာ ဆုခ်ီးျမွင့္တဲ့ အခမ္းအနားကုိ ပူးတဲြက်င္းပမွာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

(Freedom House အဖဲြ ့ကုိ ၁၉၄၁ ခုႏွစ္ ကတည္းက စတင္တည္ေထာင္ခဲ့ျပီး၊ လြန္ခဲ့တဲ့ နွစ္ေပါင္း ၇၀ အတြင္း  ကမၻာ ့ႏိုင္ငံအသီးသီး ရွိ ဒီမိုကေရစီအေရး၊ လူ ့အခြင့္အေရး ဆိုင္ရာ စာအုပ္မ်ား၊ မွတ္တမ္းမ်ား ထုတ္ေ၀ျခင္း၊ ေဆြးေႏြးပဲြမ်ား က်င္းပေပးျခင္း နဲ ့ ဒီမိုကေရစီအေရး အတြက္ ရုန္းကန္လွဳပ္ရွားေနတဲ့ သူေတြကုိ ကူညီပံ့ပိုးျခင္း စတဲ့ လွဳပ္ငန္းစဥ္ေတြကုိ လုပ္ကိုင္ခဲ့တဲ့ အဖဲြ ့အစည္းျဖစ္ပါတယ္။)
